Windows Media Player

Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center are two different things. Windows Media Player allows you to play songs and other audio items. Following are common shortcut key commands for Windows Media Player. Alt p with Windows Media Player open and active brings up the "Play" menu. Down arrow through this menu and hit Enter one time on the item you want.

Control p is "Play/Pause"

Control s is "Stop"

Control b is "Previous" (track)

Control f is "Next" (track)

Control Shift b is "Rewind"

Control Shift f is "Fast Forward"

Control h is "Shuffle"

Control t is "Repeat"

F9 is "Volume Up"

F8 is "Volume Down"

F7 is "Mute"

Control j is "Eject"
